The Green Man is a traditional symbol of Spring- growth and rebirth.
This linocut print in rich green tones is my interpretation of this ancient, folklore favourite.
Carved by hand using two linocut blocks and inked with textural marks, each pressing is totally unique- reflecting the variations in nature.
Printed in small batches, on high quality archival Hereford 145gsm paper and Cranfield oil based inks.
Available in 2 versions -
- Mounted to fit a standard 10" x 8" frame.
- Unmounted, paper measuring approx 11" x 7.5".
